The Broward County Probate Court is located at 201 SE 6th Street Fort Lauderdale Florida 33301. The Broward County Probate Court handles all Probate and Estate Administration cases in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Coral Springs and throughout all cities in Broward in which a person either owned real estate in their sole name or was domiciled in the county meaning that they resided here with the present intent to remain.

The Broward County Probate court also hears all Broward Wills contest cases or Broward Probate Litigation issues that are related to Broward Probate Law issues.

When a Broward County Probate Case enters a homestead order or a Personal Representatives deed concerning Broward County Real Estate it will then be recorded in the Broward County Public Records and then eventually be indexed and appear online at the Broward County Property Appraisers office.

For any formal probate case in Broward publication of notice to creditors with a company permitted to publish legal notices in the county. It is optional to publish notice to creditors for a Broward County Summary Probate but would shorten the period of time creditors who are not known or reasonably ascertainable would have to file claims if the decedent has not been dead for at least 2 years.
